Lap Analyser

ACC Tools provides the Lap Analyser tool to help you analyse and compare your own laps to identify where you might improve your performance.

Selector Panel

The left side of the Lap Analyser tool is the Selection Panel. Changing the Track or Car will reload the two lists below to show the laps that are available for that Track/Car combination.

By default Invalid Laps are excluded, but you can activate the Include Invalid Laps checkbox to change this behaviour. Doing so we reload the two list below to show the laps that are available for that Track/Car combination, include invalid laps.

When a laps are loaded or re-loaded the most recent lap is automatically selected as Lap 1 and the next most recent lap is automatically selected as Lap 2.

The date and time details of selected laps is shown below the selection elements to help you identify what you are comparing.

A non interactive map is shown at the bottom of the Selector Panel to help you confirm the correct Track is selected.

Analyser Panel

The centre section of Lap Analyser is where you can analyse your laps. It comprises four charts, which we considered the most important.

As you move your mouse over any of the chart panels a pop up displays the values from all charts at that point in time. At the same time the graphics below visualise these values and a few other values.

Collapsable Chart Panels

Each of the chart panels can be collapsed to provide more space for the other charts to render in. This allows you to focus on specific aspects of your driving. For example the screenshot below is focused in on Accelerator and Brake, probably the two most important charts for improving your driving.

The graphics panel will still update as you scan the chart panels.

Raw Values

The right side of the Lap Analyser provides the raw values received from ACC for the telemetry frame highlighted in the charts. Other than formating the values to 2 decimal places, the values are as they came from ACC.
