Integrations

Sim Racer Tools (SRT) is designed to support integration with some of our other products. Currently the only itegration is with this site using it as a repository for things you might want to share, but we do have other integrations planned for the future.

Setup Sharing

SRT supports sharing your setups with other users. In the initial release shared setups are available to all users. In the future we plan to add support for limiting sharing to specific users and even groups or communities.

Before you can share a setup or access a shared setup you must enable sharing on the Integrations tab of the desktop app. This step is necessary to protect the website and prevent malicious people from carrying out their attacks.

The first step is to enter your email address and a display name that will be shown on setups you share. Once you have entered these click on the Send Code button and you will receive an email with a one time passcode as verification of the address.

Once you receive the email enter it in the field provided and click on the Verify button.

An encrypted security token will be saved on your computer and used for all future communication with the integration services on this site.

You can disable sharing by returning to this tab and clicking on the Disconnect button. This will remove the security token from your computer and you will not be able to share or download shared setups in the future.
